We are proud to offer free and low-cost activities for our community – bringing people together and creating space for everyone to belong in West Silvertown, no matter what their story.
Keeping our activities free allows them to be inclusive and accessible to all, but rising costs are making it increasingly hard for us to do this. If you’re able to give financially to what we do, please consider doing so. Any amount we receive is always appreciated.
- £10 could cover one day’s expenses for a young person on work experience at our youth club summer scheme.
- £25 could allow us to subsidise a food shop at our community food pantry.
- £35 could run our uniform bank for a week, giving local families free access to uniform.
- £100 could run a free under 5s stay and play session for up to 80 local people.
- £300 could pay for a community event for local families during the school holidays.
As well as accepting one-off donations, we welcome monthly giving. Regular donations help us to be more financially secure, allowing us to plan for the future and invest in long-term projects. Find out more about regular giving below.
Friends of WSF
Friends of West Silvertown Foundation is a way for people to support our work monthly, helping us plan, commit, and be there long‑term.
This isn’t about emergency appeals or one‑off donations. It’s about steady support for local people, month after month.
Monthly support changes how we work - it lets us plan activities properly, and reduces the time we spend worrying about short‑term funding gaps.
By giving a small amount each month, Friends help create the kind of stability that local organisations rarely have, but deeply need.
Become a Friend of WSF by giving monthly. You can do this through the WSF local giving page, just select “monthly donation”.
As a Friend of WSF, you will:
- Receive an invitation to our annual celebration event
- Receive 10% off a venue hire booking once per year, starting from your 1st anniversary of becoming a friend
- Be named in our Impact Report thank you, unless you would prefer to remain anonymous
