Britannia Village Hall Refurbishment

Britannia Village Hall has been part of the community for a number of years, and it is now time to update it and make some extra spaces, so we are able to run more activities and make sure that the hall continues to be a central part of the community for many years to come.
We have appointed an architect who has done some drawings for us of how the refurbished hall will look and these are below so you can see the difference between the existing hall and the refurbished hall.
The works being done include:
- Office made larger with new reception area.
- Kitchen made larger
- Toilets changed to individual cubicles
- Main hall made smaller and 2 storey.
- Stairs opened up
- 2 new halls provided upstairs
- new meeting rooms provided upstairs
- nursery being on one level.
- New toilets provided upstairs.
- Kitchenette area provided upstairs

We need to raise a large amount of money to be able to do these works and we will be getting grants, donations and organising some events to raise this money.
We anticipate the final cost will be in the region of £1.25million with around £100,000 needed to be able to submit he design for planning approval.
